RENTAL TERMS
We understand
that travel plans may change. Our policy is designed to remain flexible while
ensuring fair availability for all customers.
Booking
modifications are free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up
time.
Please note
that any change may be subject to updated rental rates depending on
availability, vehicle category, seasonality, or revised booking details.
Cancellations
are free of charge up to 48 hours before the rental start time.
If a
reservation is cancelled less than 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time,
a cancellation fee equivalent to one day’s rental value may apply based on the
original daily rental rate.
If the vehicle
is returned before the agreed rental end date, the customer will not be
entitled to a refund for any unused rental days.
For any
eligible refund, bank transfer charges or online payment gateway charges will
be borne by the customer.
All rentals are
subject to the insurance terms stated in the rental agreement.
In the event of
an accident where the driver is at fault, the driver will be responsible for
the applicable insurance excess charges as stated in the rental agreement.
Insurance
excess charges may vary depending on the vehicle model and the driver’s age
category, including:
1.
Drivers aged 25 years and above.
2.
Drivers aged 21 to 24 years, where higher excess charges may apply due
to insurance provider requirements.
In the case of
a total loss, the driver will be responsible for 20% of the vehicle value, in
addition to the applicable insurance excess charges.
If the driver
is not at fault as confirmed by the official police report, no accident-related
charges will apply.
A valid police
report is mandatory for insurance coverage to apply.
If the vehicle is damaged and the second party is unknown, a police report is still required. In such cases, the driver will be responsible for the applicable insurance excess amount stated in the rental agreement.
Insurance
coverage will not apply in the following cases:
1.
Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any prohibited
substances.
2. Driving into floods or unsafe road
conditions.
3.
Use of the vehicle by an unauthorized driver.
4.
Harsh driving, racing, drifting, off-roading, or misuse of the vehicle.
5.
Driving in restricted areas such as deserts, mountains, autodromes, or
similar locations.
6.
Any intentional damage, negligence, or activity that may cause damage to
the vehicle.
In such cases,
the customer will be fully responsible for all related damages, repair costs,
towing, depreciation, rental downtime, and any other associated charges.
The customer is
responsible for using the vehicle safely and returning it in the same condition
as received.
The customer
must:
1.
Obtain an official police report in case of any accident or damage.
2.
Immediately contact the assigned account manager for guidance and
support.
3.
Return the vehicle in the same condition as delivered.
4.
Avoid repairing the vehicle or taking it to any garage under any
circumstances.
5.
Park the vehicle in safe and secure locations.
6.
Pay all traffic fines, parking fines, tolls, penalties, or charges
incurred during the rental period.
7.
Cover any costs resulting from negligence, misuse, intentional damage,
or loss.
Any damage
caused while the vehicle is in the customer’s possession will remain the
customer’s responsibility, subject to the terms of the rental agreement.
A refundable
security deposit applies to each rental and may vary depending on the vehicle
model and category.
The security
deposit is usually processed as a pre-authorization hold on the customer’s
credit card. This hold is mainly used to cover any traffic fines, penalties,
damages, or additional charges that may arise during or after the rental
period.
The hold may remain for up to 21 working days, depending on bank processing timelines and the posting of any traffic fines by the relevant authorities.
LUXURY Rent a
Car may offer a Zero Deposit Option for selected bookings, subject to approval
and availability.
This option
allows the customer to rent a vehicle without placing a refundable security
deposit. However, it does not waive the customer’s responsibility for any
fines, damages, extra mileage, Salik, parking charges, or any other additional
costs.
The Zero
Deposit Option may include:
1.
A non-refundable fee, depending on the vehicle model and rental
duration.
2.
Payment by credit card.
3.
A signed consent form with Cardoo Collections, a third-party collection
partner responsible for following up on unpaid charges if required.
All charges
arising during or after the rental remain the customer’s responsibility and
must be settled immediately upon request.
For customer
convenience, LUXURY Rent a Car accepts several secure and flexible payment
methods.
We accept major
credit and debit cards, including Visa and Mastercard. Card payments may be
subject to applicable processing charges.
We accept
online payments through approved and secure payment gateways, including payment
links, Stripe, PayPal, and other approved online payment gateways where
applicable. Online gateway payments may be subject to applicable processing
charges.
We accept bank
transfers to the company’s official bank account.
Please note
that the vehicle will only be released once the transferred amount is
successfully received and reflected in the company’s bank account.
Any bank
transfer charges are the responsibility of the customer.
We accept cash
payments, subject to company policy and applicable regulations.
We may accept
cryptocurrency payments, subject to company approval, payment confirmation, and
applicable terms at the time of booking.
LUXURY Rent a
Car offers delivery and collection services for customer convenience.
Free delivery
is available within Dubai up to a 25 km radius from the company branch.
For locations
beyond 25 km within Dubai, a delivery charge of AED 125 applies.

Delivery
charges may vary depending on vehicle category, location, timing, and
operational availability.
Certain payment
methods may include additional processing charges.
1.
Visa and Mastercard payments may include a 3% processing charge.
2.
Other payment methods, including Stripe, payment links, American
Express, PayPal, or similar gateways, may include a 4% processing charge.
3.
Bank transfer charges are borne by the customer, as the transferring
party.
By confirming a
booking with LUXURY Rent a Car, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the
applicable rental terms, insurance conditions, payment policies, and
responsibilities stated in the rental agreement.
