Formula Regional Middle East Championship

FRMEC or Formula Regional Middle East Championship is a single-seater racing event that works greatly as a stepping stone for aspiring F1 drivers. This multi-format race tests its competitors with a plethora of different challenges with a multitude of terrains. A spice for all seasons, this racing event sees a combination of racers hailing from different backgrounds. Here you will see drivers both experienced and young. 

Purpose and Heritage

Slowly but gradually this event is gathering prestige in the car racing scene. The main purpose of this event is to develop new racers. This is basically an event that bridges the gap between F3 and F4. It has now been recognized as a great stepping stone for F1 racing.

The location of this event is no ordinary race track. It is held in the premium UAE racing facilities. Dubai has invested heavily in building state-of-the-art racing facilities, these facilities take the racing experience to the next level.

The Car Models

Tatuus T-318 chassis is used in all the competitions. These cars are equipped with a 1.8L turbocharged engine. The cars have pioneering tech features and cutting-edge aerodynamics. The tires are made by Pirelli.

Format 

The event is multiformat, competition goes throughout the week, and both individual and team performances are awarded.

Dubai 24-Hour Race 2025

A marathon racing competition, Dubai 24-Hour Race 2025 is a mix of endurance, planning, strategy, and teamwork. This year it will be named Hankook 24H Dubai, held at Dubai Autodrome, it is an endurance heavy car racing event that takes place over the course of a whole day.  This year the Dubai 24H Race 2025 will take place from 10th to 12th January 2025 at the Dubai Autodrome. The main race will run continuously from 13:00 on 11th January to 13:00 on 12th January at the Dubai 24H race location.

It is a global event where racers from all over the world take part. The racers are a mix of experienced and young drivers. Amateure drivers also take part in this event along with the professionals. The lineup includes cars like Porsche, Lamborghini, Mercedes-AMG, Audi, and BMW.

Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East

If you are a fan of Porsche then this event is tailor-made for you. It is one of the very few one-make racing events to be taking place in the region. If you are going to be in Dubai on 18-19 January, then you simply cannot miss this event. Considered a prestigious event, this competition has attracted a considerable amount of traction in the city. One-make Competition

As we already discussed this is a competition featuring only the Porsche Carrera GT3 the playing field is level. This means no one has any advantage over others as far as it goes for the vehicle. This makes the competition more fair and competitive.

Up until now all the competitions we have talked about are car racing events but the event we are now going to talk about is a motorbike racing event. Superbikes Supremacy

One thing for sure that you are going to witness in this competition is the Superbikes extravaganza. All the biggest bike maker names are going to be part of the lineup like Ducati, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Honda, and BMW.

The competitors are a mix of international professional bikers, some local experienced bikers, and amateurs. These racers compete in different categories. The competition is usually very close and helps develop young talent for the international stage like MotoGP. 

NGK Spark Plugs Race Weekend Round 4

NGK Spark Plugs Race Weekend has now become part of Dubai's heritage and is celebrated, unlike any other racing event in the region. Held in Dubai’s autodrome the event is a brilliant opportunity for young and amateur racers to prove their mettle. What makes this event exciting and exhilarating is the multi-format racing that creates an intense atmosphere. Round 4 of this series is going to be held on March 8, 2025. This time it would be bigger than ever featuring more electrifying races that will keep motorsports fans off the hook. NGK Spark Plugs Race Weekend Round 5

The fifth round of NGK Spark Plugs Race Weekend takes place on the 5th and 6th of April 2025. Also held in Dubai Autodrome this event attracts large audiences. Much like the fourth round this round also contains multiples of rounds. Some of the most famous race formats that you can enjoy in this event are the following.

NGK Spark Plugs Race Weekend Round 6

The last and final showdown of the NGK series, this series delivers a climactic conclusion to the whole racing season of Dubai. This is just the last stage of an elaborate event spread all across the year, and the final touch does its job amicably. For this round, the track days are scheduled for April 19, 2025. Dubai Autodrome will host this round as well. It is the perfect note to end the Dubai racing season. 

2025 Formula 4 Middle East Championship

A successor to the Formula 4 UAE championship, the 2025 Formula 4 Middle East Championship starts the new series sanctioned by the FIA. The organisers of the event are Emirati Motor Sport Organization and Top Speed. This particular event follows the guidelines of Formula 4 racing formulated by the FIA. This is a prolific title that hosts a plethora of racing events throughout the sports calendar. This race calendar comprises 15 races spread across various race tracks.

Asian Le Mans Series

Not only the homegrown competitions but also international racing events are also finding a home in Dubai. The Automobile Club de l’Ouest is conducting many Le Mans events throughout Asia. The first two rounds will be held in Malaysia, the third round is going to be held in Dubai Autodrome on February 8, 2025.
